Swimming and Chilling
This was finally the rest day we had been talking about! We slept as long as possible and relaxed on the yard of our hotel for a while before walking to the center of Piraino. We were there during the siesta and everything was closed. It looked like a ghost town really as almost no one was even walking there. The center is rather small but there are some nice old buildings and at least a couple of churches there.

The season was over.
The walk was a nice change from all the driving and I wanted to continue on that path. We drove down to the sea shore and I went to swim. It wasn't really warm but not quite as cold as swimming in an air hole in Finland :). After swimming we bought yet another grilled chicken and some kumquats in a supermarket and ate them while watching tv dubbed in Italian. Before sleeping I hunted down a couple of worms in our ceiling. They were probably harmless but I didn't feel like having one in our bed when we sleep.

There were nice flowers near the tower.
